Cancellation and Transfers

Booked programmes, courses and workshops may be cancelled or transferred by providing prior written notice of the cancellation or transfer to Thales. Cancelled or transferred bookings will incur a cancellation or transfer fee at the point of cancellation or transfer.

Cancellation Fee (Thales delivered courses)

The cancellation / Transfer fee is a percentage of the training and/or coaching delivery fee and varies with the number of calendar days’ prior written notice of the cancellation / transfer received by Thales. All cancellations must be made during normal business hours (e.g. between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday - Friday). Notice of cancellations falling outside such hours will be deemed to fall within the next business day. The day the training course is to commence shall not be counted. All pre-agreed design and research fees are non-refundable once the contract has been jointly agreed.

Transfer Fee - the same rules applies to transfers as cancellations, however the period of notice is:

Coaching (Thales delivered courses)

Due to the individual nature of Coaching, substitute Coachees/Clients are not permitted.

Postponing individual coaching sessions will not incur a charge if within the terms of working agreed between coachee/Client and Coach. When cancelling coaching sessions, please ensure that you inform the Training / HR Manager within your own organisation.

Travel and accommodation (Thales delivered courses)

Travel will be charged at 42p per mile for events held further than 30 miles from a TT&C training centre. If accommodation is required for the training consultant, it will be charged at cost for bed, breakfast and evening meal.

Courses and events (Thales delivered courses)

Courier costs for delivery and return of any equipment associated with delivering the event will be charged at cost. Any additional equipment hire will be charged at cost.

Fees and Payment Terms (Thales Third Party delivered courses)

Thales shall invoice the client for all fees, charges and expenses plus Vat on date of course. Payment is due 30 days from date of invoice and may be made by BACS or cheque. The client shall pay all travel and subsistence, equipment hire or other approved expenditure incurred by Thales in the provision of training courses to the client in addition to the course fee. All such additional costs, where possible, will be notified to the client in advance.
