Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator Job
Objective of the Role
This role within the business development team has responsibility for 1st level sales development and contributes to over all team accountability targets. Success will be measured via the achievement of KPIS relating to data management and lead generation. Customer focus should be exceptional as communication is intended to develop loyalty amongst customers and increased training spend. The role reports directly to the New Business manager with a matrix relationship with the Marketing Manager
Job role
Pre- Sales Customer Contact
- Ensure customers receive a courteous, timely and accurate response to queries experiencing a high level of customer service.
- Enter training course outlines and details onto the back office training management system and website for open Programme
- Manage Training Info Inbox engaging with customers to establish 1st level Training Needs Analysis demonstrating product knowledge securing bookings and compiling quality company profile information.
- Book Customers onto Open programme courses managing the process to include ensuring customers have received Joining Instructions, arrange transport etc. for their open programme courses
- Answer 0800 no. Enquiries providing excellent customer service, generating rapport with the customer and demonstrating product knowledge to secure open programme bookings or to provide account managers with information critical to the success of a closed programme. Arranging consultative sales meetings if appropriate.
- Support Open Programme Manager & New Business Manager with customer relations. Conduct after care calls, maintain targeted levels of communication.
- Support 3rd Party administration, entering bookings onto Enterprise Study, ensuring customers receive quotes, course specifications and joining instructions according to expectations.
- Accountability for maximizing occupancy on the open programme, conduct low fill course searches. liaise with marketing manager and New business manager to produce localized Mail merge an telephone campaigns to promote high occupancy
Database Administration
- Manage accuracy of customer information held on back office and CRM database ensuring data consistent and up to date, responding to undeliverable messages and new information within 48 hours
- Research contact & company details and add to database
- Accountable for the quality of database ensuring Industry type/ No. of employees / job titles/ t/o training budget all recorded
- Generate and qualify leads from recruitment adverts, directories and exhibition lists, inform account managers of new opportunities
Marketing Assistant
- Maintain and update external online course databases
- Website – upload and maintain content supplied by marketing manager to website including copy amends, news items, video clips, presentations, customer testimonials
- Supply external agencies such as PR, EDM and SEO/Social Media agencies with content supplied by marketing manger, product and business development teams
- Update budget spreadsheet and File invoices
- Coordinate internal events
- Administer campaigns within CRM
- Establish and maintain a centralised archive of Business Development and sales and marketing presentations, marketing materials and other communications
- Monitor and coordinate marketing campaign responses to support Marketing reports delivered by marketing manager
Training Centre Support
- In line with support team objectives
- Support Centre training room set ups
- Pick ups for customers at station
