Suitable For

This three day, hands-on workshop provides delegates with the skills to perform advanced deployments and configuration of Microsoft’s latest Operating System.  The course is intended for the IT-professional who has already attended the Windows Vista™ One Day Workshop and has an awareness of the new features in Vista™. 

Participants may have to support the desktop use of Windows Vista™ or may be responsible for deploying it across any size of network.

Throughout the course, participants will gain extensive hands-on experience through the completion of practical exercises under the guidance of the course training consultant.  Individuals should be familiar with previous Windows Operating Systems.

Objectives

By the end of the course participants will be able to:· 

• Select the most appropriate deployment method for Windows Vista™· 
• Build images of pre-configured Windows Vista installations and deploy these images using a wide variety of media.· 
• Be able to manage and modify images.· 
• Configure user and group accounts and manage system security.· 
• Install and configure networks and hardware.· 
• Troubleshoot Windows Vista™ problems.
