Suitable for This course is suitable for delegates who have previously attended the Windows 2000 Server and Networking course (or who have equivalent knowledge) and need to upgrade their knowledge to Windows Server 2003. Throughout the course, delegates will gain extensive hands-on experience through the completion of practical exercises under the guidance of the course training consultant. Objectives By the end of the course delegates will be able to:· - Upgrade or Install Windows 2000 Server·
- Explain the new ways to do familiar tasks·
- Configure Group Policy and check the results of multiple Group Policy Objects in RSoP·
- Remotely administer several Windows Server 2003 computers·
- Implement in-built security and updates·
- Use the command line to perform administration·
- Use the new networking capabilities·
- Use the new filesystem capabilities
