Suitable For

This highly experiential, 2-day course is designed for Managers or Project Managers with over 2 years experience and some previous management training.  These Managers will be leading a department or project team and will be managing 1st line managers/supervisors.

The Programme is intended to be an exciting and highly interactive course.  Day 1 focuses on established Theory as well as introducing new techniques; day 2 focuses on putting those theories and techniques into Practice by using a team of Actors (that you get to direct!) on a variety of approaches with colleagues, suppliers and customers, followed by affirming individual practice.

You participate in a safe, informal and relaxed environment where, on day 2, you can instantly see the results of your actions.  It’s fast, fun and extremely effective – even for the shy amongst you!

Objectives

By the end of the course participants will be able to:·

  • Identify their current style and how to build a more proactive and strategic approach· 
  • Be able to utilise new techniques to enhance their influencing skills· 
  • Use listening and questioning skills to identify others motivational drivers· 
  • Apply different techniques for pre-empting conflict
