This award in ILM Team Leading has been designed for team leaders in order to develop skills and improve performance. No formal educational requirements are necessary, however participants will need to be practising or aspiring team leaders and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.

ILM Level 2 Team Leading - Overview

Awarded by the Institute of Leadership and Management, the ILM Team Leading course is a recognised qualification that provides participants with the basic team leading skills and knowledge necessary to develop as team leaders. The course is a highly practical and tailored programme that introduces tools and techniques for team leaders. Each participant will prepare a plan of action and will work with the trainer to identify how this can be applied on their return to the workplace.

In order to achieve the qualification, in addition to the 3 days of delivery, participants will be required to complete three reflective reviews. On successful completion of the course and the reflective reviews, individuals will be awarded the ILM Level 2 Award in Team Leading Participants who complete the programme will also automatically become a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management and enjoy the benefits that membership provides.
