What we believe about Coaching
At every level we work, our coaching practice is founded on Six Principles commonly agreed by each of our Coaches
- The Client is resourceful
- The Coach helps client 'spring loose' their resourcefulness
- Coaching is about action and change
- Coaching is about the whole person: past, present and future; at work and home
- It is a relationship of equals
- The Client sets the agenda
Quality in Coaching
We take the quality of our coaching very seriously. Coaching practitioners globally are gradually coming together to formalise the necessary regulatory standards. These will give clients the ability to compare quality between Coaches.
In line with this, two vital aspects to TT&C are:
- Training, Development and Experience
- All our coaches have studied best practice in Coaching and continue to refine their skills during the hundreds of hours of client contact they have each year
- Supervision
- We believe that a coach must check that they are continuing to apply the Six Principles and demonstrate their belief in Coaching by having Supervision from a qualified Coaching Supervisor. Through this quality assurance process, our Coaches receive coaching in difficult or puzzling situations they face and can also check that their approaches fit best practice.
